Music Monday: Josh Daniel - cover of Jealous by Labrinth

Start your day and start your week with a positive message.  Move, groove, and let a positive beat lift you up and get you in a good head space for a good week.

I'm so curious what you'll all think of my choice this week.  November up in Canada is pretty dark, pretty gloomy, and pretty cold and rainy.  I think my song choice is a lot more subdued than usual, and it's likely effected by my personal environment. This song choice I made after seeing an audition on the X Factor by Josh Daniel, and he said that when he sang this song it reminded him of his friend who had passed away.  It's like he was imagining him in heaven, and he wished he could come back.  I think that's the beauty of song, that when we create meaning within the song even a sad break-up song can transform into being a song about someone being happy and in a heavenly place with the sadness being about the distance between here and there.

What does this song bring up for you?  Do you have a happy song that was actually written as a sad song that you found a different meaning in? I'd love to hear how it resonated with you in the comments below.  If you have a song you'd like featured on Music Mondays send me the link on my contact page

I'll be posting Music Mondays to the Facebook Group: Highly Sensitive Women Thriving and to my Facebook Page: Talia Camozzi  If you want to start your week with some feel good music (and if you're reading this I have a hunch you do) then do make sure to like my page and/or join the group.
